Hello and welcome. Today I have a card showcasing the beautiful new Poinsettia Place Suite. As you probably know I love flowers, and Poinsettia's certainly are a beautiful flower. I always remember fabric ones as a child taking centre place in my mothers table centre piece at Christmas. They were made from velvet I think and so very rich loooking. Poinsettia's evoke such wonderful childhood memories in me.

So when I saw the Poinsettia Place Suite, I just had to have it. Unfortunately I can't show you what's in the suite yet till August 4.

I didn't use the whole suite on my card, just the patterned paper, dies and stamp set. There is a cool trick I did for the flowers, but I can't tell you what it is because this card is one I made for my teams August tutorial bundle. Hello and welcome. It is time for another Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe Challenge. If you are not familiar with this, it is challenge that anyone can enter. Just create a project using a line from the grid. It's so much fun.

This is the challenge grid for August.

I decided to do the bottom row of Emboss, Shine and Triangle. This is what I made.

For the embossing I used the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder. I am still in awe every time I use an embossing folder. It adds such a beautiful element to any project.

For the shine I used some glimmer paper. It's a little hard to see in the photo. I used it for the cute little banners and a layer under the triangles.

For the triangle element, I used the Stitched Triangle Dies for the two triangles that I them embossed.

This is such a fun challenge to enter.

Hello and welcome. Today I thought I would show you a few stamp sets that are perfect if you have children in your life.  Whether you want to create fun craft with children or for children, Stampin' Up! has what you need. 

First up is the fabulous Dino Days stamp set. If you have a little boy in your life, then he probably loves Dinosaurs. I remember my son went through that stage and I only wish this stamp set was around then. At 19 now I don't think he would appreciate a dinosaur card for his birthday.

Next up is the oh so cute Wildly Happy stamp set. This set is perfect if you have a little one who loves to colour. They can colour the images and then stick them onto cards for friends and family.

And lastly is the too cute Moving Along set. I don't know any little boy who doesn't love everything transport. My son always had a matchbox car not far from him. I remember he used to line them up nose to tail down the hall and into the lounge room. He had quite the collection.
